Influential photographer Larry Sultan dies

Larry Sultan, an influential photographer whose style was a blend of conceptualism and a personal documentary form, has died at age 63. Mr. Sultan was diagnosed with sarcoma in August and died Sunday, at his longtime home in Greenbrae, said his wife, Kelly.

Mr. Sultan was an artist trustee of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which holds some 40 of his works in its collection. More than a dozen of them will go on display starting Saturday, when SFMOMA begins its 75th anniversary celebration. The shows have been in planning for a year or more, and the display of Mr. Sultan’s work will be his 15th solo or group show at the museum.

Here is an artist bio and works link : http://www.wirtzgallery.com/bios/bio_sultan-2.html please click on the project’s names to view more of his works. I promise you that you will be glad to view them. I have not known him personal, but I have admired his works since I have started to realize myself about what is my style. His works show me the way to find myself and continute to guide me more  ways in the future. He was a very smart and deep man.  I am sad that good people have gone too early. Please rest well. I will always remember you.
